Enriched with vitamin B 6, it helps in the regulation of the healthy nervous system. It helps to control blood sugar levels and is known for its low glycemic index. Its high protein content, when combined with legumes, makes it a perfect substantial addition to a vegetarian diet.

One of the finest health benefits of foxtail millets is its benefit for the heart health. Foxtail millets have the ability to regulate as well as lower the levels of blood sugar of the body(5); and this in turn reduces the chances of blockages in the heart, which causes cardiac arrest.
